This was my FIRST post ever on this site, and it is exactly this video that pushed me over the edge to get involved. I cringe at this video. I have been dismissed as "sweetie" TOO many times, and I believe it speaks volumes to the ingrained and accepted sexism and condescension of the person calling me "sweetie".
condescend ( ) intr.v. , -scended , -scending , -scends . To descend to the level of one considered inferior; lower oneself.
